Eating in Seoul
The Korean kitchen can be described as spicy, with common ingredients including rice, vegetables, soup, fish and Kimchi. Kimchi is Korea's national dish, which are pickled or fermented vegetables.
Hongdae area
The area of Hongdae is located around the subway-stations Hongik, Sinchon and Ewha. This area is also known as the student area, where you will find a wide range of cheap and more expensive restaurants.
Insadong area
Between the cozy alleys and art-shops you will find a lot of small restaurants. In general the restaurants are cheap or medium priced, but Insadong also has something to offer to the more luxurious dinners.
For a good meal you pay between 5000 Won and 15.000 Won.
